At Moxstudio (“we,” “our,” or “us”), we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use DOOVI (“the App”), our digital wellness application designed to help users protect their eyes from strain.
In the modern day, users often spend too much time doomscrolling on social media. DOOVI helps remind them to give their eyes a rest. We implement the 20-20-20 rule: users set a break threshold, and when that threshold is reached, they receive a notification.
Additionally, our Eye Yoga Mode activates if a user uses their phone continuously for more than 20 minutes. An overlay will appear for 20 seconds with a timer, instructing the user to look 20 feet away for 20 seconds to relax their eyes.
Permissions We Request
Display Over Other Apps
DOOVI requires the "Display over other apps" permission to function correctly. This permission is used solely for the following purpose:
- • To show the Eye Yoga overlay when you have exceeded your screen time limit.
- • To display the 20-second timer that helps you follow the 20-20-20 rule.
We do NOT use this permission to track your activity, screen content, or interact with other applications in any way other than displaying our wellness overlay.
Data Collection & Storage
No Server Storage
We respect your privacy. We do not track, collect, or store any of your personal usage data on our servers.
Local Data Only
- • Usage Stats: Your screen time data and break history are stored locally on your device.
- • Preferences: Your settings, such as break thresholds and notification preferences, are stored locally.
Data Security
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you retain full control over your information. We do not have access to your personal data, and it never leaves your device.
